Funded by the Creative Europe program – Medium Scale projects, the "Greening the hubs" project aims to strengthen the 'environmental competitiveness' of the European cultural sector and develop new skills for sustainability managers of cultural and creative hubs.
This transnational consortium – composed of 3 creative hubs, 3 technical and research partners, and 3 European cultural networks – will work together for 3 years in an intercultural and international exchange that will bring fresh momentum – and economic support – to the sector's environmental sustainability practices.
Cultural and creative hubs managers will benefit from a comprehensive capacity-building and transnational exchange program, including online training modules to promote the transversal skills necessary to innovate management models, as well as on-site training experiences, where they can learn from experts and share best practices directly in the field.
Finally, the creative hubs involved in the project will have the opportunity to experiment with new sustainable management models for their spaces, assessing the impact generated by their actions.
