In order to best calibrate the subsequent activities, Greening the Hubs will carry out an effective assessment on the professional skills required in the cultural and creative sector of partner’s territories, with specific reference to the fields addressed by the project.
The purpose of the analysis is to investigate the needs, the constraints and the skills gap related to sustainability in the large cultural space industry, taking into account the perspectives of tenants, staff, and event managers.
At the same time, the project will provide a comprehensive overview of best practices, certifications, platforms & tools, and financial/legislation incentives related to sustainability in the large cultural space industry.
During this research and analysis activity, partners will also define and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) that will be used to measure the impact of the pilot projects on sustainability in the large cultural space industry.
The research phase of Greening the Hubs began with the very beginning of the project itself (Oct 24) by studying some very useful reports, such as the publication of the Rebuilding to Last project (RTL) led by Trans Europe Halles (TEH) in partnership with twelve organisations, and co-funded by the European Union’s Creative Europe programme ‘Small Atlas of Cultural Change, Strategies and Prototypes for Staying on the Ground’ (Oct. 2024 edition).
